Woodmont Properties Kicks Off Leasing for New Jersey Property

Woodmont Properties has begun leasing at a new 120-unit luxury community in Independence Township, N.J. The property is the first phase of the company’s Woodmont Liberty at Independence project.

Featuring one- and two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den homes, the community will have beginning rents at $2,440. Situated on 11 acres at the northeast corner of Route 517 and Bilby Road, the project first broke ground in early 2022.

In-unit amenities include walk-in closets, washers and dryers, oversized windows, keyless entry, energy-efficient appliances and designs and private patio and balcony options. The Woodmont Liberty features a pool, grilling area, indoor pet spa, coworking spaces with a conference room and private pods, fitness center, spin studio, yoga studio, clubroom with gaming tables, bike storage and a dog park.

Residents have access to local hiking paths and nearby public green spaces. Located less than 2 miles from downtown Hackettstown, entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities are in proximity. The Hackettstown train station and Interstate 80, Route 46 and Route 306 offer accessibility to the greater New Jersey and New York area.

Another luxury community in northern New Jersey, a 239-unit property by Kushner Real Estate Group, is being constructed in East Hanover. That project will have 34 homes set aside for low- and moderate-income residents.
