Lincoln Property Names New COO

Margette Hepfner will be responsible for the company’s residential management division and executive oversight of the daily operations for the multifamily portfolio.

Lincoln Property Co. has promoted Margette Hepfner as COO of the company’s residential management division. In the new position, she will be in charge of the executive oversight of all daily operations for the multifamily portfolio.

Hepfner has two decades of multifamily experience and has been with Lincoln for the past six years. She previously served as the senior vice president of client services, where she expanded existing relations with institutional and high-net-worth clients. Additionally, she was responsible for identifying growth opportunities for the company’s third-party management business. Prior to Lincoln, Hepfner was a vice president, national sales at RentPath—formerly known as Primedia—where she led a team to increase market share, total advertisers and total revenues with Apartment Guide’s national clients.   

Hepfner is currently a member of the National Multi-Housing Council’s Political Action Committee and Past Chairperson of the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) National Suppliers Council, while having served on several committees in both organizations. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Recently, Lincoln has increased its Houston portfolio with 396 units. Boston Capital selected the company to manage its newly acquired Aventura on Briar Forest.
