JAG Announces Key Promotions
The company has moved Greg Van Wie and Duncan Jones up the ladder to vice president positions.
Washington—Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG) a full-service real estate firm specializing in multifamily and mixed-use real estate investments, has announced the promotions of Greg Van Wie and Duncan Jones to the vice president, development partner role for the Mid-Atlantic region. Van Wie and Jones will be responsible for finding new development opportunities, sourcing land and overseeing the completion of JAG’s developments in the greater Washington, D.C., area.
Van Wie holds six years of experience with JAG under his belt, having managed the development process for multifamily and mixed-use projects, including acquisition and entitlements through construction and lease-up. He has also developed award-winning projects such as Jefferson Marketplace and Jefferson 14 in Washington. Van Wie also has 13 years of industry background in the development, construction and operation of large-scale multifamily and commercial developments.
Jones has been with JAG for more than five years, most recently responsible for sourcing and capitalizing new investment opportunities in the D.C. metro area, including the oversight of underwriting, deal structuring, site acquisition and preliminary design. He also has more than 10 years of industry experience in development, finance and brokerage of multifamily and mixed-use projects. While at JAG, the Yale graduate assisted in sourcing, structuring and closing of debt financing and joint ventures for many of JAG’s development and acquisition projects.
