Castle Lanterra Appoints New Managing Partner
Gila Cohen, who brings 20 years of commercial real estate and financial services experience to the team, previously served as a consultant, strategic advisor and private placement professional.
Following the recent appointment of a new COO, Castle Lanterra Properties has selected Gila Cohen as its newest managing partner. She will be responsible for the firm’s corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, as well as private placement efforts.
A 20-year veteran of commercial real estate and financial services, Cohen most recently served as a senior consultant & head of corporate strategy and client relations for Courtland Partners, where her portfolio of clients included large firms, insurance companies, registered investment advisors and pension funds. Prior to that, she was managing director & global COO of private equity at Capital Dynamics, as well as chief administrative officer & head of business development for Golub Capital.
Her tenure includes various senior investment banking and trusted advisor roles at different financial institutions. Between 2008 and 2011, she was a client relationship executive at J.P. Morgan and from 2006 to 2008, she served as UBS Investment Bank’s global COO & business manager. The recently appointed executive holds a B.A. in art history with a concentration in mathematics from Columbia University.
