Wood Partners Promotes Two to Construction VPs for the East & West Divisions
Wood Partners announced that it has promoted Phillip Vetter and Eric Fisher to the position of vice president of construction.
Charlotte, N.C–Wood Partners LLC announced that it has promoted Phillip Vetter and Eric Fisher to the position of vice president of construction. Vetter will supervise construction operations and support development operations in Wood Partners’ East Division, which includes the Carolinas, Virginia and Maryland. Fisher will fulfill the same role but will oversee in the company’s South Division, which includes Florida and Georgia. Both will be based in the Charlotte office.
Fisher, who is accredited with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, has successfully completed more than 4,400 units since he joined Wood Partners in 2000. He has been involved with mid-rise structures, brownfield site redevelopment and structural steel installations. Before he joined Wood Partners, he was operations manager and project superintendent for Marcor Remediation, a national environmental, industrial and site remediation contractor. He holds an associate degree in microcomputer system management from Bryant & Stratton College and an associate of applied science degree in graphic communications from Erie Community College.
Vetter, who is also LEED-accredited, has successfully built 3,900 units since he started with Wood Partners in 2000. As a member of Wood Partners’ Green Team, he helped develop plans for company-wide green building standards. Vetter holds a bachelor’s degree in building construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
