Wood Partners Opens Luxury Arizona Community
Featuring 291 units and a speakeasy library, the property is the company’s third development in the town of Chandler.
Wood Partners has opened the Alta Chandler, a luxury community near Phoenix.
The 291-unit project is the company’s third development in downtown Chandler, Ariz., and offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with walk-in closets and balconies.
Outdoor amenities at the property include a pool, tanning deck, rooftop lounge, courtyard with a game area, pet park and grilling and charging stations.
According to Yardi Matrix data, units range from 488 square feet to 1,409 square feet. Some 12 percent of the space, numbering approximately 36 units, has already been preleased.
Amenities at the Alta Chandler include a fitness center, yoga studio, clubroom and lounge, as well as a speakeasy library. Conference, office and coworking space are also features of the new building, as is the Urbo Bodega and Convenience Market.
Situated at 133 W Parkland Blvd., residents are in proximity to downtown Chandler with retail, dining and entertainment options. The Chandler Fashion Center and Overstreet, a new 107,000-square-foot mixed-use project, offers a variety of retailers and restaurants.
Nearby employers include Intel, Allstate, Wells Fargo, Deloitte and Isagenix. Downtown Phoenix is located less than 30 minutes away, to the northwest of Chandler.
Chandler emerges as hot spot
In prepared remarks, Clay Richardson, managing director for Wood Partners, said that Chandler was named among Forbes‘ “Top Cities for Young Professionals.”
Sunroad Enterprises recently landed $189 million in refinancing for a 346-unit community in Chandler. The pet-friendly Lazo Apartments is located near Alta Chandler at 875 W Pecos Rd. Another property nearby, 2150 Arizona Ave South Apartments, traded hands late last year. That community features 286 units, two swimming pools, two spas and a basketball court.
