Waterton Expands Chicago Team

Waterton has added Stella Pappas as vice president of investor relations to the company’s Chicago office. In her new role, Pappas will manage the company’s investor and consultant relations and will develop new client relationships for the multifamily, senior and hotel strategies markets. This follows the hiring of Tara Marszewski as its new CFO.

Pappas brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment, acquisition and asset management. Prior to joining Waterton, she served as a director at HFF where she was responsible for originating, structuring and closing equity and debt placement transactions nationwide. 

Before working for HFF, Pappas worked at Allstate Investments for more than eight years. There, she sourced and structured programmatic joint ventures nationwide for the real estate private equity portfolio and she was responsible for executing acquisitions, asset management and dispositions strategies for all asset classes. She holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and is currently pursuing her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
