Walker & Dunlop Hires Vice President of FHA Finance, Opens New Office

Bethesda, Md.—Walker & Dunlop Inc announced that it open an office in Nashville, Tennessee, and hired David T. Strange as vice president, FHA Finance. Strange will run Walker & Dunlop’s Nashville offices and will be supported by several analysts and underwriters who will focus on multifamily and healthcare loan originations utilizing FHA financing.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Strange was an FHA originator with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage in their Brentwood, Tennessee office. He originated loans under all FHA programs and established the FHA Section 242 Hospital Insurance Program during his five-year tenure with the firm. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Strange was a mortgage consultant for Sun Trust Mortgage.
