Walker & Dunlop Hires Taylor as SVP of Multifamily Finance

Bethesda, Md.–Douglas L. Taylor has joined Walker & Dunlop as senior vice president of the multifamily finance division. He will be based in Walker & Dunlop’s Irvine, Calif., office and focus on multifamily loan originations utilizing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD financing.

Howard Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Walker & Dunlop, says, “Doug’s exceptional industry reputation is exemplified by originating over $2.5 billion in commercial loans over the past 24 years and being the number one originator of multifamily loans at his previous employer in 2010.”

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Taylor was a director and senior loan officer at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, Inc., where he originated multifamily and other commercial loans nationwide.
