Walker & Dunlop Appoints Ohio Sales Team

Walker & Dunlop has hired a property sales team in Columbus, Ohio, led by Managing Director Andrew DiBlasi. He is set to manage the origination and execution of multifamily sales in the state, with a focus on central Ohio.

Most recently, DiBlasi acted as vice president of investment sales and marketing at DRK & Co. During his time with the firm, he brokered more than $100 million in transactions annually. Before joining DRK, in 2010, he worked for several private real estate firms in the Southeast, where he participated in the development of multifamily projects, consisting of more than $700 million.

The newly appointed managing director graduated from Ohio State University and volunteers on OSU’s real estate program, participating in industry case studies and panels. DiBlasi is an active member of the Columbus Board of Realtors, BIA, and NAIOP.

Recently, Walker & Dunlop arranged $80.1 million in financing for a 1,155-unit condo deconversion project in Glendale Heights, Ill. Rockwell Partners spent five years on the apartment redevopment.
