Three Promoted to Senior Vice President at FirstService Residential

First Service Residential, previously known as Cooper Square Realty, announced that Steven Hirsch, Marc Kotler and Tom Padilla have been promoted to the position of senior vice president.

New York—First Service Residential, previously known as Cooper Square Realty, announced that Steven Hirsch, Marc Kotler and Tom Padilla have been promoted to the position of senior vice president. The trio will assume executive oversight for several property management groups within the organization.

Steven Hirsch joined FirstService Residential as executive vice president in 2010 when the company purchased Goodstein Management. He began his career with Goodstein as a portfolio property manager, was later promoted to assistant director of operations, and ultimately rose to director of management. A real estate management professional for more than 25 years, he has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Residential Management Council since 2011. Hirsch earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany.

Marc Kotler, a 10-year veteran of FirstService Residential, has spent more than two decades as a real estate professional specializing in luxury high rise property management, new development construction, project management and asset management. Kotler was previously vice president of new development, heading a division that specializes in developer consulting and management of new and young buildings. Over the last decade, he has opened more than 70 properties including some of the most complex, luxury development projects in Manhattan, including New York by Gehry at 8 Spruce Street, The Plaza Residences, 20 Pine The Collection, One Morton Square, The Downtown Club Condominium, and One Lincoln Square. Kotler is a graduate of Clark University and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Tom Padilla joined the company as a portfolio property manager in 1995. He was promoted to vice president in 2005 when he began managing a team of more than 20 property managers. Padilla assumed management of the company’s New Jersey portfolio in 2010. His outstanding performance as a property manager and leader has been recognized by the industry. He has earned The Cooperator’s Leadership in Management Award as well as the National Association of Home Builders’ RAM of the Year Award. Padilla holds a degree in management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
