San Diego–The Richman Group of California Development Co. recently announced that construction has begun for its F11 project. The development project is slated for completion in early 2018.
Taking shape on a 0.6-acre lot at 1100-1110 F St. in downtown San Diego’s East Village area, F11 was designed by architecture firm DesignARC. When completed, the property will offer 99 luxury residential units above a retail component totaling 5,841 square feet.
The seven-story building will also feature a multi-level partially subterranean parking garage that will accommodate roughly 103 vehicles. The unit mix is projected to consist of 11 one-bedroom apartments, 51 two-bedroom apartments and 37 studios. In terms of amenities, F11 will offer residents a fitness center, as well as an indoor bocce ball court.
Apart from The Richman Group and DesignARC, the development team also consisted of Nexus Planning Consultants, Wimmer Yamada and Caughey, and Cannon Constructors. The $45 million project was financed by PNC Real Estate, as well as The Richman Group.
The developer’s portfolio also includes the upcoming residential tower at 330 13th St., the Ventana senior community in Fullerton and the Sage development in Cerritos.
