The Lightstone Group Names Mark C. Green Senior Vice President of Construction
The Lightstone Group, a privately held real estate company, has named Mark C. Green, veteran of nearly two decades in the real estate development industry, as its senior vice president of construction.
New York—The Lightstone Group, a privately held real estate company, has named Mark C. Green, veteran of nearly two decades in the real estate development industry, as its senior vice president of construction.
Green comes to Lightstone from The Brodsky Organization, where he spent the past seven years as the firm’s director of construction. He previously was a vice president at Tarragon Development Corporation and prior to that spent nearly nine years at Bovis Lend Lease LMB Inc., now Lend Lease Construction (US) LMB Inc.
In his new role with Lightstone, Green will oversee the construction of all of Lightstone’s development projects.
Green has headed up construction for luxury condominium projects, such as 135 East 79th Street in Manhattan, where units were priced up to $25 million, and 455 West 20th Street, which involved extensive renovations to one of the oldest buildings in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Additionally, he oversaw the renovation on the 60-unit, Highline Hotel in Manhattan.
Green also oversaw pre-construction activities on a number of high profile projects, such as City Point Tower 2, a 439-unit project in Brooklyn, and the 430-unit, 400 West 113th Street, which is on the grounds of St. John the Divine Cathedral in Manhattan.
Green, 40, is a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He is married, with two children and lives in Red Bank, N.J.
