The Habitat Co. Hires New VP
Kimberly Sisney will lead and oversee the operations, planning and strategy of the firm's affordable communities located in Chicago and St. Louis.
The Habitat Company has appointed Kimberly Sisney as vice president of Habitat Affordable Group, the company’s affordable division that manages more than 10,000 units. Sisney has more than 25 years of experience in property management and, according to Charlton Hamer, senior vice president, Habitat Affordable Group, she has spent her entire career in the industry, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of the field.
As vice president, Sisney will oversee the operations, planning and strategy of Habitat’s affordable communities located in Chicago and St. Louis. She will manage profitability and quality services, process improvements, marketing, budgeting and accountability for all properties under The Habitat Affordable Group.
Prior to joining Habitat, Sisney held the position of property management director at Bickerdike Redevelopment Corp. Before that, she was vice president of operations at Urban Innovations. She also served as senior asset manager at the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Sisney is a past president of the Institute of Real Estate Management and she is a Certified Property Manager, a Certified Occupancy Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist.
