Hollywood, Fla.—Property management company The Continental Group (TCG) has promoted Chief Operating Officer Tim O’Keefe to Chief Executive Officer, and Rob Rabin will assume the position of COO after serving as CFO for two years.
O’Keefe takes over the top role at the company from Tom Roses who announced his retirement earlier this year.
O’Keefe joined TCG in 2009 as COO and has made significant contributions to the company’s operational processes. Prior to TCG, O’Keefe served over 20 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as senior vice president of Resolve Corp., a former FirstService company that managed corporate marketing and promotional campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.
“Continental’s customers benefit from the investments we make in our people allowing us to customize our service for each property we manage,” says O’Keefe. “We bring significant cost savings to our customers, which is especially important today as associations are more cost conscious than ever. Continental will continue to provide a highly customer focused service team delivering innovative solutions to our clients.”
In his new role as COO, Rabin will be responsible for client accounting, operations, human resources, information technology and value enhancement programs. As TCG’s CFO, Rabin demonstrated a keen understanding of the business and instituted multiple system improvements to the company.
