Terra Search Partners Names Search Veteran Linny Simkin as Senior Principal

San Francisco—San Francisco -based Terra Search Partners, an executive search firm specializing in the real estate industry, announced that Linny Simkin has been promoted to senior principal of the firm. Based in Seattle, Simkin will continue to focus her attention on providing excellent service for the wide range of Terra Search’s clients across the country as well as on increasing Terra’s reach in the Pacific Northwest.

Simkin joined Terra Search Partners when the firm opened in 2006, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in the executive search industry—17 of which were honed in the Seattle area.

Simkin’s proven track record of success that spans a wide variety of clients with differing work styles, technologies, budgets and approaches to search will benefit both Terra Search Partners and the firm’s current and future clients. Simkin’s expansive network and industry background includes a particular focus on real estate executive and management positions in the areas of affordable housing, acquisitions, operations, asset management, development and finance.

A native resident to Seattle, Simkin currently lives with her husband, Jeff Jobson, and their two teenagers, just a few miles from where she was raised. An active volunteer at her children’s schools, Simkin particularly enjoys being involved with art-related activities there. She is also a singer/songwriter/guitar player. Simkin holds a bachelor’s degree in theater from Pomona College.
