Stiles announced the promotion of Jeff McDonough to president of Stiles Residential Group.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.—Stiles announced the promotion of Jeff McDonough to president of Stiles Residential Group (SRG), the company’s residential development and investment services division.
In this new capacity, McDonough manages and directs day-to-day operations of the division, including oversight of project conceptualization and execution. SRG currently has projects in various stages of design and development with a cost in excess of half billion dollars. Based out of Stiles’ Fort Lauderdale corporate office, McDonough is also focused on developing new business opportunities to further expand SRG’s presence throughout Florida, North Carolina and other strategic locations in the Southeast.
Since joining Stiles in 2005, McDonough has been instrumental in several significant development projects and held roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he led Stiles’ efforts, in partnership with Hensler Development Group, in the development of the recently completed Twelve|Twelve, a 23-story, 286-unit, ultra-luxury condominium project in Nashville, Tenn. Originally developed as a luxury rental apartment, this LEED certified project was converted to a condominium during construction.
Previously, McDonough oversaw all aspects of One Plantation, a 321-unit, high-rise, luxury apartment project located in Plantation, Fla. He also served as the owner’s representative for Centra, a 198-unit townhome project located in Boca Raton; and West Marine’s 50,000-square-foot flagship retail store in Ft. Lauderdale, the largest in their chain.
McDonough was recognized as the Young Leader of the Year in 2012 by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) SE Florida/Caribbean District Council. He holds a master’s degree in Real Estate and Urban Analysis from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond (Va.). He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), LEED Accredited Professional, and member of the ULI SE Florida District Council’s Advisory Board. He also previously served on the City of Boca Raton’s Zoning Board of Adjustment for a term of eight years.
