Sandra Brooks Henriquez is Elected Chief Operating Officer at Rebuilding Together
Sandra Brooks Henriquez is now the chief operating officer as elected by Rebuilding Together’s national board of directors.
Washington, D.C.– Sandra Brooks Henriquez is now the chief operating officer as elected by Rebuilding Together’s national board of directors. Henriquez will lead all aspects of the operation of Rebuilding Together, including finances, human resources, team management and strategic planning.
Henriquez founded SCBH Associates, LLC; a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm that provides services to public and affordable housing owners. She has served as the assistant secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Public and Indian Housing. Prior to working for HUD, Henriquez was the administrator and chief executive officer of the Boston Housing Authority. Henriquez was formerly president and director of the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities. Her other board service includes 10 years serving on the board of YWCA Boston and the New England Baptist Hospital.
