RXR Realty Begins Leasing at Luxury Brooklyn Property

Offering 363 units, 475 Clermont features amenities such as catering kitchens, a pet spa and yoga studio. Occupancy is scheduled to begin in April 2019.

RXR Realty has begun leasing at 475 Clermont, its first residential community in New York City. Located at the intersection of Brooklyn’s Fort Greene and Clinton Hill neighborhoods, the building was designed by Aufgang Architects, with interiors by Durukan Design. Occupancy is scheduled to begin in April 2019.

“475 Clermont will offer exceptional quality in its thoughtfully designed homes and amenity spaces,” said Scott Rechler, chairman & CEO of RXR Realty, in a prepared statement. “The building’s architectural elements not only reflect the character of the surrounding brownstones and tree-lined streets that are unique to this Brooklyn neighborhood, but the residential programming along with the diverse retail experiences will encourage a true sense of community for new and existing residents.”

Luxury features

The 12-story property will offer 363 studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans with monthly rents ranging from $2,330 to $5,210. The exterior features contextual masonry with curved metal paneling and large-scale casement windows. The lobby entrance features raw steel paneling, a custom hewn end-grain wooden desk and a custom neon art piece by Mr. Brainwash. The building will also be home to a 90-foot tall mural by San Francisco-based muralist Mona Caron.

Apartment features include up to 11-foot high ceilings, wide-plank white oak hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and washer/dryers. Residents have access to amenities including an indoor/outdoor fitness center, terrace and lounge with an outdoor movie screen, catering kitchens, a yoga studio, pet spa and access to 35,000 square feet of experiential retail on the ground level.

Nearby attractions include the BAM Cultural District, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Museum, Barclays Center, Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Residents will have access to convenient transportation options such as the C subway line one block east and the A, B, D, G, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4 and 5 subway lines within half a mile.

Last month, a joint venture between RXR Realty and Broadway Construction Group topped off 810 Fulton St., the firm’s mixed-use project in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood. The development is scheduled for completion this year.
