Watercrest Senior Living Group, together with equity partners Peninsula Alternative Real Estate and Corecam Capital Partners, has broken ground on Watercrest Macon Assisted Living and Memory Care, a 98-unit luxury senior community in Macon, Ga.

The senior community will come online at 111 Providence Blvd. within Providence Village on Bass, the 116-acre master-planned development by Bass Capital Group.

Upon completion, Watercrest Macon will consist of 76 assisted living and 22 memory care residences. Amenities will include a promenade, fireplace, water wall, salon and spa and outdoor living spaces. Various types of services will be offered, from medication assistance to music and pet therapy. The property is some 10 miles northwest of downtown Macon, close to Interstate 75.

Renasant Bank secured financing and EMJ Corp. serves as general contractor for the development, which is slated to be completed in summer 2021.

In July, Watercrest Senior Living completed another luxury development in Georgia. The 107-unit assisted living and memory care facility in Newnan was developed in a partnership with Waypoint Residential.
