The Citadel at Westpointe to Break Ground in San Antonio

The $33 million garden-style community will encompass 282 apartments and various amenities, including a resort-style pool and demonstration kitchen.

On San Antonio’s west side, a new garden-style apartment community will soon break ground. The Citadel at Westpointe, a project valued at more than $33 million, will bring together a team of real estate professionals comprising owner/developer Cambridge Development Group, designer/architect Humphreys & Partners Architects, construction firm Jordan Foster Residential, and interior designer Karen Kramer & Associates.

The Citadel at Westpointe will consist of two three-story buildings, nine two-story structures, a clubhouse and 39 freestanding garages. The unit mix will total 282 apartments with 90 Big House-style floor plans and 192 eUrban units, featuring open-design floor plans with nine-foot ceilings, decorative designer lighting, washers and dryers, walk-in closets, roman garden tubs, private balconies or patios, and upscale kitchens.

All buildings will be conventional wood-framed structures, while the exteriors will feature a mix of stone and Hardie board with composite shingle roofing. The clubhouse will feature a resident lounge, cyber café with coffee bar, gourmet demonstration kitchen, fitness center, dog park, outdoor cooking area and a resort-style pool with cabanas and jacuzzi. In addition, the property will offer electric vehicle charging stations.
