Pennrose’s Mark Dambly Elected to PAA East Board of Directors

Mark Dambly, president, Pennrose Properties, has been elected to the 2015 board of directors of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association East.

Mark DamblyPhiladelphia–Mark H. Dambly, president, Pennrose Properties LLC, has been elected to the 2015 board of directors of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association East (PAA East). PAA East board members represent some of the largest national and regional developers, management companies, lenders and more. Together, they lead the nonprofit’s mission to provide services that enhance quality rental housing. Dambly’s one-year term begins on January 1, 2015.

Based in Bala Cynwyd, PAA East represents multifamily developers, owners and managers in the Greater Philadelphia area that collectively have more than 125,000 residential property units. The nonprofit provides members with a forum to share their strengths and offers educational, public relations and governmental affairs-related services to improve rental housing in the state.

In 1992, Dambly began his career at Pennrose Properties as a vice president and partner. He became president in 2004. Dambly directs the firm’s business development efforts, seeking opportunities for future business, and establishing and maintaining relationships with municipalities, agencies and lenders. His vast experience includes complex multifunded transactions in both the affordable and market-rate housing markets. Under his leadership, Pennrose’s portfolio of real estate developments has grown to more than 10,000 units.

Among his civic activities, Dambly serves on the Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees, Board of Directors of the Crozer-Keystone Health System and Penn State Hershey Medical Center. In addition, he is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chester Institute of Economic Development, and board member of Legal Housing Legal Services and the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania.
