Peak Campus Names Chief Financial Officer

Atlanta—Peak Campus announced that Wendy Walker has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer for the company. In this capacity, Walker is responsible for directing and providing leadership for the property and corporate accounting teams which oversee financial management and reporting for in excess of 200 legal entities and more than $2.6 billion in real estate value. In addition, she leads the activities of Peak’s financial planning and analysis group. She manages the design and implementation of processes and procedures, internal controls, accounts payable, and treasury management. Walker has been an innovator and organizational architect in developing enterprise-wide strategies for the implementation of leading practices in the accounting & finance department.

Walker has been with Peak Campus since its inception. She joined Peak’s predecessor in 2007 as property controller, and has since served in increasing capacities including vice president of property accounting and most recently as senior vice president of accounting. Prior to joining Peak Campus, Walker served as a senior property controller for LNR Property Corporation, and prior to that worked in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen LLP.
