Peak Campus Hires New VP of Development
Mike Paluga has 16 years of experience in various development projects and 11 years of architectural experience.
Atlanta—Peak Campus recently announced that the company added a new vice president of development. Real estate executive Mike Paluga will be responsible for pursuing development opportunities in the western part of the country and will report to Jeff Githens, president of the Peak Campus Development Co.
Paluga has 16 years of experience in various development projects such as student housing, mixed-use, multifamily, senior housing and nursing facilities. Additionally, he has more than 11 years of architectural experience working with high profile design-build projects worth $1.6 billion. “Mike’s extensive knowledge of the development process, student housing and architecture makes him an ideal fit for our development team,” said Githens, in prepared remarks.
Prior to joining Peak Campus, Paluga held several senior positions at the University House Communities, Forest City and LNR. He holds a BS degree in architectural studies from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Paluga also attended the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture in Versailles, France, in association with the University of Illinois.
