Peak Campus, a privately-owned student housing operator and developer, has welcomed a new addition to its team. Tami Finan joins the Atlanta-based company as regional vice president of operations in charge of the Southeast and Midwest portfolio encompassing more than 25 student housing assets and 15,000 beds. In this new role, she will oversee a team of five regional managers and will be responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, human resources, operational and financial performance. Recently, Peak Campus promoted Jennifer Hill to chief people officer and general counsel to oversee all legal matters and risk management at the firm.
Finan has been active in student housing management for the past two decades, holding both on-site and corporate management positions. Prior to joining Peak Campus, she most recently served as regional vice president at RISE Real Estate. In addition, Finan acquired extensive experience in the years spent as regional manager and regional vice president at Ambling Management Co., where she was responsible for operational oversight of 40 properties and provided regional supervision of hiring, training, marketing, budgeting and facilities management.
“Tami comes with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, and I am confident she will use that experience to make an immediate and long-lasting impact at Peak,” said Casey Petersen, COO at Peak Campus, in a prepared statement. Finan is a certified property manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management and a certified apartment manager through the National Apartment Association. She received a bachelor’s degree in science from Ohio University.
