Norbert Buelsing Joins CBRE as Senior Vice President

CBRE Group Inc. announced that Norbert Buelsing, CPM, CSM has joined the CBRE Investment team as senior vice president.

Honolulu—CBRE Group Inc. announced that Norbert Buelsing, CPM, CSM has joined the CBRE Investment team as senior vice president.

Most recently, Buelsing was the president of A&B Properties Inc., the real estate operating subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. His responsibilities included acquisition and disposition of income properties for the firm’s 8 million square foot income portfolio, as well as oversight of construction and sales of commercial developments and resort projects in Hawaii and on the U.S. mainland.

Prior to A&B Properties, Buelsing was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Chaney, Brooks & Company, during which time it became both the largest real estate firm in Hawaii and one of the five largest property management firms in the United States.

Buelsing received a Bachelor degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he also did postgraduate work in real estate.

He is a board member of several community organizations including the Manoa Valley Theatre, Historic Hawaii Foundation and the Diocesan Real Estate Committee and is treasurer of the Waialae Ridgeline Estates Association.
