Newmark Knight Frank Expands Midwest Multifamily Group

Elizabeth Gagliardi and Chuck Johanns have joined the brokerage as senior managing directors.

Newmark Knight Frank has named Elizabeth Gagliardi and Chuck Johanns as senior managing directors to the firm’s Midwest multifamily investment sales team. In their new roles, Gagliardi and Johanns will focus on institutional deals in downtown Chicago. 

Gagliardi has more than 17 years of industry experience, representing clients in dispositions, joint venture structuring, portfolio sales, valuations and underwriting. Most recently, she acted as senior vice president at JLL. Before that, she served as an associate at Deloitte. The newly appointed senior managing director has a B.A. from the University of Miami.

With more than 30 years of experience, Johanns also joins the company from JLL, where he acted as senior director. Before that, he served as managing director with Houlihan Capital. Johanns has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Last month, NKF secured a $23.8 million Freddie Mac loan for the buyer of a 403-unit community in Columbus, Ohio. The asset last traded in 2005.
