Miami—Monument Real Estate Services has recently appointed Gregory Lozinak to chief executive officer.

Lozinak joined Monument Real Estate Services in January 2016 as COO. He was responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day operations, organizational processes and infrastructure of the firm’s 350-person property management team. Lozinak oversaw the firm’s portfolio of more than 12,000 units throughout the Southwest, Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.

“Greg has been an instrumental leader since joining Monument Real Estate Services last year, and under his leadership we have seen tremendous growth as we continued to expand our property management portfolio across the country,” said Stuart Zook, former CEO of Monument Real Estate Services.

Prior to joining Monument Real Estate Services, Lozinak served as the division president at Invitation Homes, where he oversaw the operational and financial aspects of an 8,000-home rental portfolio with properties located in North Carolina, Chicago and Minneapolis. He previously worked with Waterton Residential, ING Clarion Partners and Archstone.

Lozinak graduated cum laude from Saint Bonaventure University, where he earned a BBA degree in accounting. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army.

Former CEO Stuart Zook assumed the newly created role of CIO, focusing on advancing the firm’s strategic growth and investments.
