Michelle Duncum Climbs the Ladder at FDG
The 25-year industry veteran was promoted to COO after almost four years at Faulkner Design Group. In her new role, Duncum will be responsible for managing the company’s daily operations.
Faulkner Design Group, a Dallas-based interior architecture and design firm, promoted Michelle Duncum to COO. Previously, Duncum served as vice president of client services and public relations, after joining the company back in 2013. She has played a leading role in upgrading the company’s developer services, technology capabilities and the expansion of FDG’s offerings and product lines.
With more than a quarter of a century of experience in property management, multifamily construction, development and marketing, Duncum will be responsible for managing the company’s daily operations, including restructuring the firm to optimize quality assurance, employee performance, client satisfaction and profitability. She will also oversee management of the firm’s clients, vendors and national projects.
Duncum’s responsibilities in 2017 in her new position:
- help bridge developer marketing and operational priorities in order to take their properties to the next level through new FDG’s Developer Services products;
- manage and promote new FDG-designed, owned and controlled product lines;
- continue the firm’s initiatives in technology such as 3D modeling, virtual reality;
- launch the company’s new film production and photography division.

Prior to joining FDG, Duncum served as asset manager and executive director for Glenbrook Residential and Brothers Property Corp. in Dallas. She has also worked in multiple financial advisory committees for the Arlington Independent School District.
