Mark Bittenbender Joins Greysteel Capital Markets
Greysteel Capital Markets, a Washington, D.C.-based real estate finance firm, announced that Mark Bittenbender has joined the firm as director.
Washington, D.C.—Greysteel Capital Markets, a Washington, D.C.-based real estate finance firm, announced that Mark Bittenbender has joined the firm as director. In his new position, Bittenbender will provide financing and advisory services for private capital and middle-market multifamily, retail, and single tenant assets.
Bittenbender comes to GCM with over a decade of diversified real estate investment and capital markets experience. Prior to joining GCM, Bittenbender was a senior vice president of finance and investments with Thurston Companies, and before that, served as director of asset management for a $300 million Washington, D.C., area private equity real estate bridge fund. He began his career as an investment associate of a national real estate investment services firm, where he sourced, structured, and executed more than $150 million of financings and investment sales transactions of single tenant restaurant properties nationally.
Bittenbender holds a master’s degree in real estate finance from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.
