Longmont, Colo.–Mark A. Linnell, who founded LinnellTaylor Marketing, a communication firm for multifamily companies, died on September 5, 2010 at his home from complications of pancreatic cancer. He was 56.
Linnell was also an active member of his local business communities. He loved sharing his passion for music and his enthusiasm for life extended into sports, supporting the Rockies, the Avalanche and the Broncos, his garage (also known as his favorite room in the house), his Corvette as well as keeping up with the latest technologies and current affairs. But the one thing to best describe him was his love for the little things in life. Every morning one could find Mark enjoying a walk with his trusted Welsh Corgie, Mickey.
Don Canfield, vice president of LinnellTaylor Marketing, says, “Mark loved the multifamily industry and worked exceptionally hard to exceed client goals, sharing his expertise and passion for marketing to ensure success. He always stressed the importance of delivering the best service possible and in his absence, we are honored to keep his legacy alive. Always the optimist, Mark embraced life and lived everyday to the fullest. We mourn the loss a genuine leader, colleague, friend and mentor. Our support goes out to his family, he will be missed.”
The company has worked with over 30 clients since it was founded 20 years ago.
