Carlsbad, Calif.–Management Resource Center, a provider of products and services to the community association industry, has named Sabine Liedel, CMCA, as the company’s president and chief executive officer. Liedel will operate out of Southern California overseeing a national staff. She replaces Mike Packard, who is moving to the position of chairman at the company and will assume an advisory role.
Liedel, formerly regional director for MRC, represented the company’s Western Region for more than four years. Her career started in the not-for-profit industry with positions at the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau, The Sierra Historic Sites Association and the California Apartment Association. She is also a former employee of CAI, serving as executive director of the Inland Empire Chapter in California.
MRC was founded in 2009 with a goal to combine a variety of products and services under one umbrella to fulfill the needs of the community association industry in one convenient place and also to provide buying power by pooling clients. MRC also acts as the marketing organization for these products and services that do not have a sales or marketing team of their own.
