Philadelphia—Anne-Marie Niklaus, divisional vice president of Madison Apartment Group, LP, the multifamily operating arm of Equus Capital Partners, has been named 2015-2016 regional vice president for Region #2 of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). With more than 18,000 members worldwide, IREM has been a trusted source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals for more than 70 years.
During her two-year term, Niklaus will have oversight over IREM chapter activity throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. Anne Marie previously served in a number of chapter leadership positions, including President of IREM’s Delaware Valley Chapter #3 in 2009. She has also held several national committee positions including IREM Governing Council, Membership and Credentialing Committee, ARM Forum and Chapter Leadership Forum.
As divisional vice president of Madison Apartment Group, Niklaus oversees four regional property managers and is responsible for the operations of 40 communities totaling more than 8,425 units. Niklaus is an integral part of all phases of Madison’s properties including the acquisition, operations and disposition processes.
Niklaus has gained a national profile within the property management industry with numerous awards, including the President’s Award in 2013, IREM Chapter #3 ‘CPM of the Year’ in 2004, and ‘CPM Candidate of the Year’ in 2000.
In addition to her new position at IREM, Niklaus is a member of the National Apartment Association and is a CPM (Certified Property Manager) and an ARM (Accredited Resident Manager) under IREM. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD.
