Lebkisher Joins WDG Architecture

Washington, D.C.—Jon Lebkisher, AIA, LEED AP, has joined Washington, D.C.-based WDG Architecture as director of low and mid-rise multifamily. Lebkisher is an award-winning architect who has designed many distinctive multifamily residential projects throughout the United States.
Lebkisher’s experience includes the design and management of urban infill, transit-oriented, mixed-use, multifamily, healthcare and university projects, with an emphasis on residential buildings. His portfolio, which extends from Vermont to Florida and from Atlanta to San Francisco, includes the design of nearly 2,000 residential units and extensive retail/residential space. His recent projects include Marquis Vista, a 225-unit apartment community with high-end amenities; and Lindbergh Vista, a mixed-use community with 314 residential units, shops, and restaurants. Both five-story apartment communities are located in Atlanta, Ga.
WDG is currently designing several low- to mid-rise multifamily residential projects in the D.C. metropolitan area. The firm is working with Jair Lynch Development Partners at H Street, N.E., on the first 315-unit phase of a major residential, office, hotel and retail development. The firm is also working with Jair Lynch on a residential development that includes 291 apartments, 187 condominiums, and 78 senior apartments at the McMillan Reservoir. The project is part of a master plan now being implemented by Trammell Crow and EYA.
