Kimble Ratliff Joins National Multi Housing Council as Director of Government Affairs
The National Multi Housing Council named Kimble Ratliff to the newly created position of Director of Government Affairs.
Washington, D.C.–The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) named Kimble Ratliff to the newly created position of Director of Government Affairs. Ratliff will cover a variety of housing and finance-related policy issues for the Council’s growing government affairs program.
Ratliff joins NMHC from the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services where he was a member of the Housing Subcommittee professional staff, working on FHA, flood Insurance, GSE reform, affordable housing, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and a variety of other mortgage finance and secondary market related issues.
Prior to coming to Washington, Kimble worked for a private equity firm in Dallas on their acquisitions team responsible for business valuations and due diligence. He also worked in portfolio analysis for a Birmingham-based investment company servicing multifamily loans. Kimble holds a BA in Public Policy from Southern Methodist University where he also captained the school’s lacrosse team as a three-year starter.
