Kidder Mathews Taps Orange County VP
Based in the firm’s Orange County office, Johnny Chang will specialize in multifamily investments. He joins from CBRE and has transactions totaling more than $250 million under his belt.
Kidder Mathews has appointed Johnny Chang to the role of vice president. Based in the firm’s Orange County office, Chang will specialize in multifamily investments.
Chang’s track record
Prior to joining, Chang worked as an associate for CBRE in the firm’s Newport Beach, Calif., office for nearly three years. During his tenure with CBRE, he was involved in multifamily investment transactions of more than $250 million. Chang’s previous experience also includes brokerage positions with Westlake Associates and Cascade Partners and a self-employed equity trader role.
Chang holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from Harvard University with an emphasis on management and finance.
Kidder Mathews performs $5.6 billion in transactions, manages more than 46 million square feet of space and conducts 1,300 appraisals annually. More recently, the firm brokered the $30 million sale of a 136-unit community in Oceanside, Calif.
