Kidder Mathews Hires New SVP in Phoenix

Karl Abert has more than 25 years of real estate experience. In his new role, he will be in charge of coordinating investment brokerage, banking and structured loans.

Kidder Mathews has hired Karl Abert as a senior vice president in the firm’s Phoenix office. Abert will focus on coordinating investment brokerage, banking and structured loans, as well as multifamily investment sales in the Phoenix market.

Abert brings more than 25 years of experience to Kidder Mathews, with an extensive activity in the Southwest. He worked with major banks, special servicers, equity funds, syndicators, insurance companies, private capital investors and developers. In the multifamily sector, he served as disposition and acquisition specialist.

Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Abert worked for Grubb & Ellis Co. for more than seven years, where he served as vice president. He also worked for NGKF. Abert received a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate studies, with a minor in marketing, from Arizona State University.
