KGD Architecture Elevates Henry Mahns and Tom Donaghy to Principals

Principals Ben Kishimoto, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP; Chris Gordon AIA, NCARB and Manoj Dalaya, AIA, AICP are announced the elevation of Henry Mahns, AIA and Tom Donaghy, AIA, LEED AP to principals at KGD Architecture.

Mt. Kisco, N.Y.—Principals Ben Kishimoto, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP; Chris Gordon AIA, NCARB and Manoj Dalaya, AIA, AICP are announced the elevation of Henry Mahns, AIA and Tom Donaghy, AIA, LEED AP to principals at KGD Architecture.

Henry Mahns joined KGD in 2002 and became a stockholder in 2012.  His award-winning projects include the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation headquarters building which won the Bronze Brick in Architecture Award in 2012, and the 495/95 Express Lanes Operations Center which won a design award from Northern Virginia AIA in 2013. Henry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University.

Tom Donaghy

Tom Donaghy

Tom Donaghy joined KGD in 2012 and became a stockholder in 2015.  His 20 years’ experience with commercial, civic and cultural projects inform a consensus-based leadership style that engages project stakeholders early in the development process and promotes design as a dialogue.  Tom received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona.  He is an active member of NAIOP Virginia, and will present work at AIADC 2015 and at the 2015 NCCA Leadership Exchange and Conference.
