Kevin Johnson Joins Auction.com Board

Auction.com, an online real estate marketplace, has added retired Juniper Networks’ CEO and former Microsoft executive Kevin Johnson to its board of directors. Johnson is the most recent high-profile addition to the Auction.com board, joining Jeff Epstein, ex-Oracle and DoubleClick chief financial officer, and current managing partner at Bessemer Venture Partners.

Johnson is the most recent high-profile addition to the Auction.com board, joining Jeff Epstein, ex-Oracle and DoubleClick chief financial officer, and current managing partner at Bessemer Venture Partners.

Recognized for his leadership, expertise and vision, Johnson has served as director on the board of Starbucks Coffee Company since 2009 and held board positions with non-profit organizations focusing on technology and women’s career advancement.

Johnson retired from Juniper Networks in January 2014, having served as the company’s CEO and a member of its board of directors for over five years. During his tenure at Juniper, revenue grew from $2.8 billion in 2007 to $4.6 billion in 2013 through innovative products and a more diversified customer base. Prior to his work at Juniper, Johnson held a range of executive positions at Microsoft Corporation, including group vice president of worldwide sales, marketing and services, and eventually serving as president of the company’s platforms division, where he was responsible for the Windows and online services businesses.

In 2008, Johnson was appointed by President George W. Bush to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) where he served both Presidents Bush and Barack Obama through 2013.
