Karen Plesh Joins Hunt Military Communities as VP of Operations
Plesh brings more than 22 years of experience, having previously worked on portfolios of various sizes across the United States.

Chicago—Hunt Cos. Inc. has recently hired Karen Plesh as vice president of operations for Hunt’s Military Communities division. In her new role, Plesh will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation and oversight of all property management activities for the company’s portfolio. Working from Hunt Military Communities‘s office in Chicago, she will oversee operations of over 34,000 homes spread across more than 40 properties.
Plesh brings in over two decades of experience, having previously worked on portfolios of various sizes across the United States. Most recently, she served as vice president of property management at Wimmer Communities and prior to that, she served as a senior vice president at Morgan Properties, where she was responsible for all operational aspects of a 32,000-unit portfolio. Additional background experience includes roles such as regional vice president for Morgan Properties and senior vice president for Orion Residential.
Plesh is a Certified Property Manager and served as an executive board member & president for the Eastern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gabrini College.
