Kaplan Appoints New President of Management

Pamela McGlashen has more than 38 years of real estate experience and has managed various types of properties.

Kaplan has named Pamela McGlashen as president of management. In her new role, she is responsible for overseeing operations at a multi-market portfolio in the Sunbelt Region.

McGlashen has more than 35 years of real estate experience and her background includes fiscal planning, budgeting and overseeing regional managers. Most recently, she acted as head of asset management for Arel Capital. Before that, McGlashen spent almost 13 years with Allied Orion Group, becoming president at the company in 2015. She has managed various types of properties, including affordable housing, market rate, condominium associations, as well as retail and office.

The newly appointed president is a Sam Houston State University alumni and serves on the board of directors of the National Multi-Housing Counsel. She is also on the advisory board for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and the Houston Apartment Association. McGlashen previously served on the board of directors for the Apartment Association of Louisiana.
