Jonathan Rose Companies Names New CFO
The new executive will manage investor relations and oversee investment funds.
New York—Jonathan Rose Companies LLC, a green real estate development, investment and project management firm, has named Sanjay Chauhan chief financial officer. In addition to his responsibilities as CFO, he will manage investor relations and oversee the firm’s investment funds.
Most recently, Chauhan served as CFO and asset management leader at Urban American, a New Jersey-based real estate firm focused on acquiring, improving, and managing workforce housing. During his time there, Chauhan played an integral role in in the company’s expansion in the multifamily sector.
Chauhan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Politics and a Master of Arts from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, which he attended on a Rhodes scholarship. He completed a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Mathematics Subsidiary from Delhi University in India (where he received the Mark of Honor award – one of just three recipients in the school’s 100-year history). He is credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
