Los Angeles–Hines, an international real estate firm, announced today that John Favreau has joined the firm as vice president in its West Region. Favreau, a 24-year multifamily development veteran, will be located in Hines’ Los Angeles project office. His focus will be to coordinate the multifamily activities throughout Southern California and the Pacific Northwest, including Utah, Oregon and Washington states, in coordination with Alan Patton, Hines’ senior vice president of the multifamily division.
Favreau was most recently co-founder and principal of JRS Realty Partners LLC, a Southern California-based developer and manager of apartment communities, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s development activities and growth. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with The Morgan Group Inc. as a senior vice president. While at Morgan, Favreau was directly responsible for over $500 million in new multifamily and mixed-use developments throughout California and the Pacific Northwest. From 1986 to 1997, he was engaged in brokerage, syndication and management of various multifamily and industrial properties throughout Southern California.
