Edward Yang Announced as Partner at JBM Institutional Multifamily Advisors

CEO & Chairman Jamie May announced that Edward Yang has become a partner and executive director of JBM™ Institutional Multifamily Advisors with offices in Tampa, Orlando and Naples.

yang thumbnailTampa, Fla.—CEO & Chairman Jamie May announced that Edward Yang has become a partner and executive director of JBM™ Institutional Multifamily Advisors with offices in Tampa, Orlando and Naples. Yang will head up the Orlando office and focus new business development, marketing and closing of institutional multifamily properties throughout Florida. Prior to becoming a partner, Yang worked with Jamie May and the JBM Group of Institutional Property Advisors.

As partner and executive director, Yang will continue to head up the Orlando office and cover all markets in Florida and the Southeast. His direct responsibilities include client advisory, business development, property analysis & financial underwriting, market surveillance, marketing and the disposition execution of institutional grade market rate, tax credit and tax exempt bond financed properties.

Prior to becoming a partner, Yang served as an associate director on Jamie May’s team with the JBM Group of Institutional Property Advisors. He was previously with CB Richard Ellis – Florida Multihousing Group. Before entering the brokerage and advisory industry, Yang worked in acquisitions and development of various asset types including multifamily, as well as investment banking in New York.

Yang is on the board of directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Florida.
