Jackson Dearborn Partners Names New Director of Acquisitions

Todd Giampetroni has more than 15 years of combined experiences in valuation services, financing, acquisitions and asset management.

Jackson Dearborn Partners has appointed Todd Giampetroni as director of acquisitions and asset management. In his new role, he will expand the company’s portfolio and seek opportunities in student housing across the Midwest.

Giampetroni has more than 15 years of combined experiences in valuation services, financing, acquisitions and asset management. Most recently, he acted as vice president with Lutz Real Estate Investments.

During his tenure, he participated in the addition of approximately 3,000 beds to the firm’s student housing portfolio. Before Lutz, he served as senior analyst for Q10 iCap Realty Advisors. Before that, he spent three years with NPV Advisors. Giampetroni holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.

The newly appointed director will work with Partner Ryan Tobias at the company’s office in Ann Arbor, Mich. In October, two student housing properties adjacent to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, traded as part of a $250 million portfolio acquisition.
