Jack Sipes Joins Dominium as Senior Vice President of Property Management

Dominium, an apartment development and management company, announced John “Jack” Sipes has been named senior vice president of property management.

Minneapolis—Dominium, an apartment development and management company, announced John “Jack” Sipes has been named senior vice president of property management. In this position, Sipes will oversee Dominium’s property management department, handling more than 23,400 owned/managed units in 22 states. All property management operations staff will report to Sipes, along with marketing, maintenance and purchasing, and compliance.

Prior to joining Dominium, Sipes was vice president and national executive manager for WinnResidential Military Housing Services in Nashville, Tenn., managing a portfolio of nearly 10,000 private family homes located on military bases. He holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and is a veteran of the U.S. Army, graduating from the United States Military Academy in West Point.

Dominium is the eighth largest affordable housing owners in the United States, with more than 23,400 owned/managed units at 226 sites in 22 states. In 2011, the company acquired more affordable housing properties than any other in the nation. Dominium projects owning and/or managing more than 25,000 units by the end of 2012, up from 17,500 units in 2008.
