Interra Realty Promotes 2 Managing Partners

Joe Smazal and Brad Feldman, who have been with the company for more than five years, will serve as senior managing partners.

Joe Smazal and Brad Feldman of Interra Realty have been promoted from managing partners to senior managing partners. Each of them has been with the company for more than five years, having been recognized for their activity several times. Commercial Property Executive has recently named Smazal one of 2019 “Stars to Watch.”

Smazal joined Interra in 2014, having previously worked as an associate for Marcus & Millichap. Since 2017, he has completed more than $200 million in multifamily transactions, being an expert in multifamily properties located on the North and Northwest sides of Chicago. A graduate of University of Iowa, Smazal leads training workshops and advises on the company’s growth strategy.

Feldman has been with the company for more than eight years, almost since Interra was launched. He has more than 13 years of real estate experience, having been managing director with Kiser Group and a business analyst with Hewitt Associates. During his time with Interra, Feldman achieved several times strong per-unit prices in neighborhoods such as Rogers Park, Logan Square and Edgewater. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves on the board for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Young Professionals Leadership Committee in Chicago.
