Houston—INNOVATIVE Real Estate Companies has restructured to create additional emphasis on conventional multifamily in addition to student housing. INNOVATIVE’s principals—Doug Sherman, Michael Augustine and Jared Miller—are positioning the company for a period of strong growth in both sectors.
Under INNOVATIVE Apartment Living, the firm’s multifamily holdings are expected to increase with pending acquisitions and developments. The company is aggressively pursuing both value-add and core acquisitions in key markets – in addition to third party management opportunities.
As part of the company’s growth, INNOVATIVE recently hired Dana Caudell as a regional vice president based in Florida. Dana brings considerable conventional multifamily experience to INNOVATIVE. Prior to joining INNOVATIVE, she was responsible for operations of The Daniel Corporation’s multifamily division, regional property director at Madison Apartment Group and a regional manager for Altman Management Company.
