Inland American Communities Announces New EVP of Investments

Troy Manson is the new executive vice president, investments at Inland American Communities.

Troy-MansonDallas—Troy Manson is the new executive vice president, investments at Inland American Communities (IAC). He is tasked with overseeing IAC’s investment activities as well as assisting with the company’s future strategic direction.

Manson has more than 12 years of experience in student housing. He returns to IAC after serving as managing director and co-head of the national student housing investment sales practice for HFF, a provider of commercial real estate and capital markets services. Manson previously spent seven years in various roles at IAC and its predecessor, FirstWorthing. At FirstWorthing he was involved with financial transactions and investments, and eventually became managing director of operations.

A graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., Manson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration.
