Houston-Based Allied Orion Group Names Pamela McGlashen as President

Allied Orion Group has named Pamela McGlashen as president. McGlashen, who has served as the company’s vice president of property management for the past six years, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property management portfolio, supervising business development and personnel, and implementing policies and procedures.

McGlashen, who has served as the company’s vice president of property management for the past six years, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property management portfolio, supervising business development and personnel, and implementing policies and procedures.

McGlashen began her multifamily career in Houston in 1983 as a leasing consultant and was quickly promoted to manager within six months. She moved to New Orleans in 1986 where she continued her career in property management, serving as a director of education, director of marketing and property supervisor for three local management companies covering Louisiana, Texas and Florida. Her management portfolio has included all types of multifamily housing, including LIHTC, conventional, Section 502C, condominium association management, as well as retail and office space. McGlashen served on the board of directors of the Apartment Association of Greater New Orleans from 1996 through 2001, holding the offices of secretary, vice president and president elect. In addition, she served on the board of directors for the Apartment Association of Louisiana and as a delegate from the State of Louisiana for the National Apartment Association.

McGlashen joined Allied Orion Group as a regional supervisor in 2002, advancing to regional vice president in 2005. In 2009 she was promoted to the position of vice president of property management. She currently serves on the board of directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council.
